NH63NW 75 from 6065 3475 to 6105 3600 and 6119 3595 to 6140 3574
Traces of a drystone dyke, running from NE to SW along the NE-facing slope, were noted during a forestry survey at Clune Hill. A;lthough parts of the dyke are obscured by gorse, it may be traced from about NH 6065 3475, above Dores, to about NH 6105 3600 near the former Manse. A small section of dyke and an earthen bank run NW from the main dyke at NH 6085 3551. It appears to be the head-dyke separating Clune farm from the hill ground on the SW.
The dyke is possibly of 19th century date and appears to predate Clune Wood.
