A turf field-bank runs along the leading edge of the terrace overlooking the S bank of the River Devon. It can be seen in sections from NN 9488 0483 to NN 9498 0491, before becoming lost in broken ground; thereafter it picks up again at NN 9503 0494 and extends to the side of the river at NN 9520 0500. It serves to accentuate the natural division where the edge of the narrow flood plain of the river meets the hillside beyond. Two other turf field-banks, spaced just under 40m apart, extend from the drystone wall that runs along the S side of the river, perhaps forming a crude stock-shelter. These field-banks are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire and Clackmannanshire 1866, sheet cxxvii).
On the terrace between the field-bank and the S bank of the River Devon, there is a small subrectangular hut (NN 9512 0498) which measures 4.9m from ENE to WSW by 2.5m transversely within low turf footings.
