A barrage balloon mooring site has been identified from vertiical air photographs (RAF LEU/UK 4, pt.1, 7031 - 7032, flown 1948), on the eastern shoulder of Pegal Hill to the W of the public road 60m N of the 49m spot height. In addition, three buildings to the S and one to the N visible on the photographs, may be associated with this site.
