(Location cited as NS 824 800). Columbian Foundry, Bonnybridge, founded c. 1870 by Smith and Wellstood. A large complex of one- and two-storey buildings. The 'old foundry', now mechanized, includes a two-storey, 5- by 23-bay rubble block and a two-storey, 3- by 12-bay range with round-headed windows facing the canal. The 'new foundry' is mainly single-storey, with roof lighting.
