Nothing is visible of this artillery battery, which stood on what is now the esplanade at Aberdeen Bay. The battery is depicted on both the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire 1869, sheet lxxv; 1902, sheet lxxv.SE)

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 25 June 1996.

This battery dates from 1860 and was built under an agreement of 1858 agreement together with that on Torry Point (NJ90NE 22.00).
