What may be the remains of a large hut, or less probably a small turf stell, are situated at the N end of Capelaw Hill, in a saddle between the summit to the S and a craggy spur to the N. It measures 7.7m from ENE to WSW by 6.4m transversely over a grass-grown bank up to 2.5m in thickness and 0.3m in height.
