This disused quarry is situated in a field of pasture 110m W of the new house at Ward farmsteading. It measures about 12.5m from NE to SW by 6.8m transversely and it is up to 1.5m in depth on the W. Now grass-grown, the interior has been partly filled from the NW with large slabs of stone.
