The remains of a building were recorded at this location during a walkover survey at Stronlairig as part of an environmental assessment for a proposed hydro-electric scheme. The building was rubble built and measures 6.5 x 3.5m, and is aligned N-S. The remaininig walls are up to 1.4m high and 0.4m wide. A secondary structure, a possible lambing pen, was built into the SE corner and had remnants of a corrugated iron roof. The structure is marked as unroofed on the 1992 OS map, and is not marked on the latest OS map or the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps.
