The 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey 6-inch map of Banffshire shows two ruined rectangular buildings at Sron da Cloich-aoil, on the east bank of the River Avon.
These buildings are not shown on the current 1:10000 map. Without further information, their exact date and purpose must remain unknown.
