To the N of the Abhainn Fiachanais there is a roughly-rectangular expanse of flat ground bounded on the NW and NE by the remains of a stone dyke which, together with the burn to the SE and the storm beach above the shore to the SW, defines a roughly-rectangular field amounting to about 0.8ha and containing traces of rig cultivation. At the NW edge of the field there are two small stone-walled huts built onto the dyke, one at NM 34305 94996, the other about 10m to the NE. A third hut and a small enclosure or stance stand to the W of the cultivated area.
