Oval football ground with stepped concrete spectator terraces in earthen embankments. A two storey brick main pavilion, with a concrete date plaque of 1954 and later rendered extension to the rear, lies to the North of the site. Immediately to the East, is the covered stepped spectator terrace. A brick turn style provides spectator entry to the grounds from the NW. All external metal features are painted red, to the pavilion an internal paint scheme of red and black remains – black and red being the team colours.

Rob Roy Football Club was founded in 1878, playing in various grounds until locating to Adamslie Park (the park having previously housed football team Kirkintilloch Harp) in 1926. The football team relocated to alternative grounds following sale of Adamslie Park.
