Scope and Content Possible henge monument at Mains of Ballindarg, Angus The ditch of this possible henge was discovered as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs. The ditch is broad and is broken by an entrance causeway on the SE. This is a view of the henge from the air and looks towards the N. The ditch of the henge is visible as a dark penannular ring. The terminals of the ditch appear to be round-ended. This possible henge has been levelled by ploughing and lies at the edge of an arable field immediately to the N of a public road.
