Scope and Content Ferry House, Town Pier, North Queensferry, Fife This building was probably originally a waiting room for ferry passengers. Its castellated architectural treatment would be consistent with the traditional origin of the 'Queen's Ferry'. This view shows the seaward end of the building, with its Tudor-Gothic windows, angle buttresses and exaggerated castellation. The modern additions are not of the same quality. The building is now a private house. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
