Scope and Content Broch at Dun Baravat, Bernera, Isle of Lewis, Western Isles Dun Baravat is a broch built on a small island in Loch Baravat. It is reached by a causeway from the N shore. Some structural features can still be seen. This plan of Dun Baravat shows the remaining structural features. The entrance passage is to the north and has one guard chamber. Opposite the entrance is a cell with a staircase leading to the gallery above. There are two other cells - one on each side. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
