Scope and Content Council-chamber inside Kintore Town-house, Aberdeenshire Kintore Town-house is said to have been begun in 1737 and completed ten years later. A north-west wing was added around 1800, perhaps by a local mason. The doors and architraves of the first-floor council-chamber are mid 19th-century in character. Little survives from the building's earlier history. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
