Scope and Content View up central chimney of first-floor hall, Bay House, 1 Panha', Dysart, Fife Bay House was built in 1583 for Patrick Sinclair during the time when there was still a pier on Panha'. It was restored in 1969 by The National Trust for Scotland. A timber partition (right) was installed in the central chimney when the original large hall fireplace was divided into two smaller fireplaces. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
