Scope and Content Burgh arms in stained glass window inside Lochmaben Town Hall, Dumfries and Galloway Lochmaben Town Hall replaced an earlier building which was in poor repair by 1723. The building costs were met by local subscriptions. In 1741 the Marquis of Annandale paid for the construction of a steeple.
