Scope and Content A striking aerial view of Findhorn village backed by the mouth of the River Findhorn and the eastern extremity of Culbin Forest. This contextual shot includes the locations of: 1 -- the Burgh of Old Findhorn, now offshore beyond the mouth of the Bay, recorded by Canmore as having been overwhelmed by the sea on a single night in 1715; 2 -- a shell midden near the Bay's W shore; 3 -- anti-tank blocks along the seaward side of the caravan park (visible on enlargement).
