Scope and Content A general view of the site of the former township of East Mulchaich in the triangular patch of rough ground in the lower centre. On the far side of the woodland above E Mulchaich hidden in the trees close to the boundary between two ploughed fields are the ditched ramparts of Drummondreach Dun and beside it to the south a roundhouse. Left of the woodland and across a ploughed field Drummonreach House is surrounded by trees. Above it and a little left is the 18th century Urquhart Parish Church also surrounded by trees. Above it to the left and close to the shore is the Manse. Hidden between the Parish Church and the Dun is a quarry which was used as a preaching site after the 1843 Disruption. At the top of the image to the left is the site of the old Urquhart church and cemetery. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
