Scope and Content Caplich Quarry was established in 1938. Alness Golf Course is to the left of picture. This course was extended from 9 to 18 holes in 1997. Millcraig Farm is towards the top of picture and there is a very degraded chambered cairn at centre right. Some archaeological finds have been recorded in the farm fields. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
