Scope and Content A general view of the conservation area of the Burgh of Fortrose. A little above centre and to the left lie Fortrose Cathedral ruins in the centre of the rectangular churchyard surrounded by a close with a range of fine buildings. To the left of the cathedral and a little above it is the chapter house. In the centre foreground is a cemetery, to its left, in the trees, St Boniface's well and beyond that in the upper left, the spire of the Free Church is clearly visible. Between that and the well, just above a car park the prominent gable marks the former quoad sacra church now Town Hall. Just below centre on the right are the harbour and former granary buildings from which a road to the left leads to the top of the cliff and St Andrew's Episcopal Church. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
