Scope and Content A general view of the southern end of Ardesier, a medieval burgh formerly know as Campbelltown. The field in the upper centre of the image is the site of a building and large enclosure associated with the Knights Templar. Prominent visible buildings include a large 19th century house to the right and just below centre, on the far left the F plan 19th century former school, now library and community centre and to its right the Memorial Hall. The old centre of Ardesier lies outside the picture to the left. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
