Scope and Content A general view of Auchtercairn, Strath, Smithstown, Lonemore and Carn Dearg on N side of Gairloch Bay with Longa Isle at top R. Sron na Carra and Cnoc an Sgaid defining Port Henderson are on the S side of the Bay. Gairloch High School and modern housing visible bottom L. Scotland's Rural Past recorded settlement remains at Strath Sgitheachand Lonemore on the coast towards the top of the photo.
