Scope and Content Foulis Ferry, a former 18thC girnal (grain store) and salmon fishing station on N shore of Cromarty Firth, now used as cafe (and formerly visitor centre) off A9 at base of glacial raised beach. Pier visible with tide partially out. Fragment of former fishtrap, railway and groyne visible. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
