Scope and Content This is a close view of the Norbord factory at Morayhill. Norbord manufactures wood-based panels and established a factory at Morayhill in 1988. An archaeological excavation in 2015-2016 in advance of the building of a bio-mass plant in the field on the right uncovered evidence of prehistoric settlement and pottery production. In 2008 an excavation in the area on the left identified the remains of a farmstead. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
