Scope and Content The A96 Inverness to Aberdeen road is on the right and the Moray Firth. Inverness is at the top of the photo. Above the retail park to the right is Stoneyfield House, a listed C1790 mansion. On part of its land is the Coach House Inn, (now in 2020 the Snow Goose Inn). In this area, and near the roundabout, crop marks have revealed many Bronze age archaeological features, a cemetery, pits and ring ditch.
