Scope and Content The area on the nearside of the A9, now largely under houses, was the site of a possible iron age settlement. Pits and post-holes were identified before building work started, and several structures including 3 roundhouses, a rectangular building, various artefacts and a possible enclosure were identified. To the east were several pits, some of which contained material suggestive of metalworking. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
