Scope and Content Tarbat Ness Lighthouse, is in the distance. It was built in 1830 by engineer Robert Stevenson, rebuilt 1892. Another HER ref states it was originally built by James Smith. Beside are the lighthouse keepers cottages and enclosing walls. Bottom right at Wilkhaven there are references to a wind pump and a small rectangular shed, no details given. In the same area, copper coins of the Reign of Charles II were found between 1850 and 1871. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
