Scope and Content To the right is the Royal Navy Port Fuel depot. There are a large number of brick and concrete fuel tanks built for the Royal Navy in several phases between 1913 and 1960's. The buildings to the left of the oil tanks are Invergordon and Ben Wyvis Distilleries' warehouses. The long pier in the distance is Saltburn jetty built to serve the Aluminium Smelter which closed in 1981. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
