Scope and Content This is a close view of part of the site of a Pictish cemetery near Tarradale House on the Black Isle. Cropmarks indicating square and round barrows could be seen in aerial photographs and some can be seen in this photo. Part of this area was excavated in 2019, uncovering a variety of enclosures, some of which may be earlier in date. The line of the mediaeval road can be seen running from top left to bottom centre.
