Scope and Content Possible henge monument at Finnarts Hill, South Ayrshire This possible henge comprises a mound which is surrounded by a ditch and then a low bank. The ditch is narrow and shallow, and is broken by an entrance causeway on the N. In the nineteenth century, an urn was found within the interior. This is a plan of the henge and was made in 1954. The pecked lines indicate areas that have been disturbed. This possible henge can still be seen on the ground and lies near the summit of Finnarts Hill. Its position overlooks Loch Ryan.
