Scope and Content This wharf would have been used to load and unload materials and goods. The whisky produced at Kennetpans Distillery and Kilbagie Distillery to the north would have been shipped out from this wharf. The timber quayside deck onto which cargo to be shipped in and out would have been stored is now gone. The piling formation is still visible, with rows of wooden piles designed to give maximum compressive strength.
