Scope and Content Henge monument at Normangill, South Lanarkshire This henge is defined by a pair of curving ditches with external banks. It has two broad opposing entrances which open to the NW and SE. The interior is featureless. This is a plan of the henge. The surviving segments of the banks and ditches are relatvely well-preserved, and both the entrances can be seen. This henge survives as an earthwork and is situated on a terrace overlooking the Camps Water. A public road runs through it and a sheepfold overlies the S end of the W bank.
