Scope and Content At Knockando, scribbling is the first phase of carding. This department is where the carding takes place. At the end of the scribbler, the wool is raked off the doffer roller and onto the Scotch feed with a comb. Then the intermediate (the second machine) forms thick rolls of wool by raking it onto a belt which takes it through a funnel. Sound: sound Colour: colour Running time: 0.54
