Scope and Content Department where the carding takes place. After the hopper, the wool is brought on the scribbler by an automatic feeder which weighs up equal amount of wool. The scribbler is made of several wooden rollers coated with carding wire which brush the wool: workers, strippers and the swift in the middle for the first half of the machine.
