Scope and Content Description about esquisse on the back: Due to the extreme weather condition in Scotland, I designed a skyscraper to tackle the changeable weather. The design inspiration was based on the organic structure- Horse neck stretched structure, which is more flexible for a building in the future. The key design idea of this skyscraper is the energy exchange. According to the heavy snow and rain in Scotland, besides the strong wind, the facades are made of concrete fiber that can close and open depends on the wind which change the wind energy to thermal energy during the winter. Also, because of the relative humidity in Scotland, the ‘tentacles’ of the building absorb the rain and melting snow from different directions. When the water goes through the pipes to bottom, the water pump will gater the water.
