Scope and Content On black-edged paper. Thanks Petrie for drawing of interior of Maes Howe, which will be placed prominently in his museum, anf for the coins of which the museum is in need. Signature cut away. 2. 16 October 1859. Thanks Petrie for the plans and views of the 'East Brough' [of Burray], which will be framed and placed in the museum. It will be interesting to compare them with plans given to him by Dr Joass. Hopes to hear about Skara, and thanks him for 'the little coin'.
