A charred grain of indeterminate species (Sample ##) from the upper ash fill E 2051 of the central hearth in House 2 of Trench E, sealed below a general spread of dark burnt silty loam that runs across the central area of House 2. It is interpreted as ash from the final fire in House 2. Grooved Ware predominated at the site, but round-bottomed bowl was present at lower levels.
