A piece of hazel charcoal (Sample EWE52) from the post-pipe fill 1549 of a pit / post-hole 1519 within the northern pit alignment. Pit 1549 cut into subsoil and was sealed by 002. The carbonised remains are considered to represent portions of a linear arrangement comprising oak uprights holding wattle.
