Sample CH06#39 Context 1205 Fill layer 1205 within House 1370 (above second floor within northern roundhouse). Deposit of white windblown sand above floor layer 1369 and sealed by fill layer 1203. Site Phase 10. The sheep right carpal is most likely to have been deposited as the result of activities in which butchered joints were deposited in the sand. Very little time is likely to have elapsed between the sheep's death and the articulated bone's incorporation into the archaeological context of the fill deposit.
