Sample TEL04 24 Context 24 Clay silt fill of palisade cut F25. Above bedrock and below 2, a layer of hill wash. On morphological grounds the palisade is likely to be broadly contemporary with the enclosure ditches, as it follows their line. Likely to have been incorporated into fill when palisade erected. Unlkiely to have survived on the surface for any length of time, nor in the context, to have been redeposited from another much earlier feature.
