Sample TWT02 106 Context 106 Loamy clay fill of large pit F85 set on edge of cobbled surfaces. Above natural boulder clay and below similar but sterile pit fill 88. Most probably domestic waste reflecting use of adjacent cobbled surface, accidentally incorporated in pit while open: grain is unlikely to have survived on the surface for any length of time, or to have been redeposited.
