Sample TWT02 20 Context 20 Black silty clay fill of [F19] post hole cut into base of, and predating, the early ditch running through the centre of enclosures. Over natural subsoil and below silty clay 10 of ditch above. Most probably domestic waste incorporated when the post hole constructed. The grain is in good condition and unlikely to have survived on the surface for any length of time, or to have been redeposited from another earlier feature.
