Sample TST03 231 Context 231 Sandy clay layer within regularly cut pit F230, over natural subsoil and below ploughsoil 251. The pit is one of an arc of three in the NE part of the site, situated between the ditch and the palisade and thought to significantly postdate these. Probably deposition of domestic waste from the fire - includes fire cracked stones: within one year of death.
