Sample TST03 60 Context 60 Silty clay fill, rich in charcoal, of posthole F61. Over natural subsoil and beneath hillwash. One of outermost arc of postholes. Probably domestic waste incorporated into the fill shortly after death when post erected. Nut is in good condition and thus unlikely to have survived on the surface for any length of time, or to be redeposited or intrusive.
