C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - OxA-7664

Human bone from lower layer of the earlier shell midden deposit.( Contexts XV and XIV) which yielded all the previous 14C dates on charcoal, shell and artefacts; the new date fits in well with this group, and suggests that the whole midden deposit can be viewed within a 'Neolithic' context, one that included burial as well as other activities.
