C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GaK-1970

Wood from the wall of hut circle 3 in the fort. PROBLEM: not clear what half life used to produce date of "1196 +/- 90 BC". Also see Spriggs and Anderson 1993 for reservations about the accuracy of many GaK dates measured in the 1970s and 80s.
