Shell from the final hearth in a side chamber. PROBLEM: The excavator refers to Geochron using the 'best' half life (presumably 5730) rather than the standard 5568. Thus the conventional radiocarbon age would be even younger than that quoted. PROBLEM: As of 2009, the calibration is uncertain because the marine effect varies (Ascough PhD) and it is not safe simply to correct the age by 405 C14 years
