C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-3877

Hazel and alder charcoal from a lens of fresh-looking grain and charcoal (163/6234) at the south side and base of the recut enclosure ditch near Structure 7. The sample is from the same context as GU-3428 (7000+/-130 BP), obtained from grain in a series of earlier measurements which included aberrantly early dates probably resulting from contamination in the laboratory process.
