C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-3469

A structural timber (OB92 174401) sealed upright below approximately 60cm of loch bed silt (context 018). The pile was in its original driven position and was undoubtedly fresh at the time of insertion. Sealed by a silt layer shortly after the upper part has broken away.
